Margaret Bennett is a graduate of Irvington High School, in Breckinridge County. She came
to Vine Grove as a newly-wed in 1956 with her late husband Owen Bennett, Jr. They left for
one year and returned upon purchasing an interest in the funeral home. Margaret has worked
at the funeral home since she and her husband first purchased an interest in the business.
Although she worked at the funeral home, her time was volunteered as she did not receive a
paycheck until 1996. In 2006 Margaret became a Kentucky licensed
funeral director.

Larry D. Calvert, the son of Arnold D. and Betty Denson Calvert, is a graduate of North Hardin
High School and Mid American College of Funeral Service. He began working at the funeral home
in 1981 doing yard work, maintenance and all other assigned duties prior to serving his
apprenticeship and obtaining his Kentucky Funeral Directors and Embalmers license. He is
assistant chief of the Radcliff Fire Department where he has been a volunteer since 1979.
Larry is married to Beth, the only child of Margaret and Owen Bennett, Jr. Beth and Larry
have one child, Kara, and reside in Radcliff.

Beth Bennett Calvert is a graduate of North Hardin High School, Kentucky Wesleyan College
and Mid America College of Funeral Service. Beth holds a Kentucky license for Funeral
Director and Embalmer. She lived in the funeral home in Vine Grove until the age of fourteen
and then began working there during the summers while in high school. Her full-time employment
began in 1984. Beth is the daughter of Margaret and the late Owen Bennett, Jr., wife of Larry
Calvert and mother of Kara.
Michael Worthington, the son of Winfriede and the late Charles Worthington, is a graduate
of North Hardin High School. He is licensed Funeral Director in Kentucky.
Michael was previously a full-time fire fighter with the Radcliff
Fire Department but now serves as a volunteer there. He lives in Radcliff with his wife,
Jami, and their three children, Charles, Emily and Aaron.
