Margaret P. Bennett, of Vine Grove, is a graduate of Irvington High School. She came to Vine Grove as a newly-wed in 1956 with her late husband Owen Bennett, Jr. In 1959, she became part owner and she began working at the funeral home. Margaret is a Kentucky licensed Funeral Director. She and Owen had one daughter, Beth.
Larry D. Calvert is the son of Betty Denson Calvert and the late Arnold D. Calvert. He is a 1979 graduate of North Hardin High School and a 1985 graduate of Mid America College of Funeral Service. He began working at the funeral home in 1981. Larry has volunteered on the Radcliff Fire Department since 1979 and holds the rank of assistant chief. He has been recognized with numerous awards, including lifesaving and the City of Radcliff's first ever "Mayor's Community Spirit Award".
Kara Calvert Stewart is the daughter of Larry and Beth Calvert. She is a 2005 graduate of North Hardin High School and a holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Kentucky University.
R. Devin Stewart is the son of Terry and Shannon Stewart. He is a 2006 graduate of Allen County High School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Kentucky University. Devin received the Home Town Hero Award in 2005.
Devin and Kara were married and began working at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in 2012. Both are currently serving their apprenticeship to become a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Kentucky.
Beth Bennett Calvert
Beth Bennett Calvert is the daughter of Margaret and the late Owen Bennett. She began her full time employment with Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in 1984. She is a 1980 graduate of North Hardin High School, holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Kentucky Wesleyan College and also graduated from Mid America College of Funeral Service.
Larry and Beth, of Radcliff, are part owners of Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral home and both hold a Kentucky Funeral Director and Embalmer license. They have one daughter, Kara Calvert Stewart. Larry and Beth worship at Grace Heartland Church.
Michael E. Worthington is the son of Winfriede and the late Charles Worthington. He is a 1981 graduate of North Hardin High School. Mike is a licensed Funeral Director in Kentucky and began working at the funeral home in 2004. Previously he worked at Fort Knox and also was a full-time fire fighter with the Radcliff Fire Department, where he still serves as a volunteer. Mike lives in Radcliff with his wife, Jami and their children.
