Obituary for Cormac Michael Conahan

Cormac Michael Conahan, 86, of Elizabethtown, KY, died Saturday, December 30, 2017 at his home.

He was an Army veteran of WWII, Korea, and the Vietnam conflict. He proudly served for 28 ½ years. During his service he received the following commendations; Bronze star with V device and oak clusters, Purple heart, Air medal, Army good conduct with silver clasp, and 3 loops, National defense service medal, and the Vietnam service medal.

He is survived by his six children, Rose Smith of NY; Liz Smith of CA; Michael Conahan of Cecilia, KY; Ayden Conahan of Rineyville, KY; Frances ( Joe) Wise of Rineyville, KY; Jerry Conahan of Rineyville, KY; Grandchild Alicia Mayan of NY; Grandchild Hillary (Jake) Buckner of OR; Grandchild Brandon Smith of CA; Grandchild Ryan (Stephanie) Wiggins of FL; Grandchild Sashe (Randall) Bracewell of FL; Grandchild Sydney Conahan of Rineyville, KY; Grandchild Ben Conahan of TN; Grandchild Chris (Lisa) Wise of Elizabethtown, KY; Grandchild Michael Wise of Rineyville, KY; Grandchild Ashley ( Ryan) Martin of MI, twenty great grandchildren ; one great great grandchild

A graveside service will be held at 12:30 pm on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, 2501 N Dixie Blvd, in Radcliff, KY. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff.
