Obituary for Willard Avery Campbell

Willard Avery Campbell, 82, of Vine Grove, KY, died Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Baptist Health in Louisville, KY.



He was a volunteer game warden at Ft. Knox for over forty years, retired from AAFES and was a member of the Camp Knox Masonic Lodge #919 F.& A.M.



He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Campbell; two children, Gloria Donaldson and Roger Banks; parents, Josh and Flora Campbell; two siblings, Garvis Campbell and Ruby Boone and a granddaughter, Tina Banks.



He is survived by his six children, James and Martha Campbell of Ekron, KY, Elaine (Jackie) Payne of Vine Grove, Dewayne (JoAnne) Campbell of Vine Grove, Arlie (Sue) Banks of Vine Grove, Stanley (Teresa) Banks of Vine Grove and Marvell (Laura) Banks of Otisco, IN; a companion, Reoma Pence of Vine Grove; five siblings, William (Louise) Campbell of Owensboro, KY, Tommy Campbell of IN, Leauna Hibbs of Radcliff, KY, Delorise Wood of Louisville and Sharon Bullock of Vine Grove; 36 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.



The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, in Radcliff, KY with Rev. James Royalty officiating. Burial will follow in Vine Grove Cemetery in Vine Grove.



Visitation will be on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday after 9:30a.m. at the funeral home.
